Why Dance at Heartland?

Dance Builds Self-Confidence & Coordination

We teach our students HOW to dance not how to copy dance movements.

To promote the progress of our dancers, we use graded lessons that develops dance technique in stages, strengthens and trains young bodies, elevates self- esteem builds body awareness, and instills a love of dance.

We Teach Dance as an Art – Not for Competition.

We expect our dance students to learn more than dance routines. They learn about the art of dance in a noncompetitive atmosphere and we encourage each student to develop their artistic potential.

For those wanting advanced dance opportunities we offer an international X-Elite Ballet & Tap program.

We use Age-Appropriate Costumes, Choreography and Music

We teach our dancers self-respect by selecting costumes that are classy and beautiful. Heartland believes children’s dance moves should be youthful and fun – not overly mature for their age.

Together with with family-friendly music the beauty and artistry of our dancers is the focus of attention.
